Let's face it - most of you, upon seeing a hairless cat, automatically think of "Mr. Bigglesworth", Dr. Evil's beloved pet in Austin Power's popular sequal.

Well, the idea of "hairless cats" no longer encompasses only the Canadian Sphynx (Mr. Bigglesworth is a Sphynx, by the way), but there are actually a few new, completely different breeds of Hairless cats that are rapidly gaining popularity across the world.

we are here to share our passion for the Russian Peterbald.

"Why?" you ask?

We are a group of people who show, raise, and love the Russian Peterbald cat, and we want to help you learn everything that you would like to know about these fantastic, elegant, very un-cat-like cats.

The Peterbald is a result of intentional breedings between the Donskoy (another breed of hairless cat), and Oriental Short Hair and SIamese cats. The goal was to bring the dominant genes for the hairlessness of the Donskoy (more on this later, we'll keep it simple here!) - and add the elegance of the Siamese breed group. The result is a beautiful, foreign-type, hairless and brush coated cat, called the Peterbald. They are athletic, energetic, vocal, intelligent, people-oriented felines.
