Bemisu cats are raised like family, with a lot of love and attention.  They are not caged.  We have five Sphynx (3 females/2 male) and two Peterbalds (1female/ 1 male), making our breeding program very small.  Blake Gipson are the Sphynx breeders while Lynne and Jason Couvier handle the Peterbalds.  This allows them the care and attention they crave.  They are guaranteed healthy and have immunizations consistent with their age.  We are very concerned with the kittens well being, not only at the time of purchase, but through their entire life.  We help to deliver them, supplement their mother's care, and have a substantial investment in them - time-wise, emotionally, as well as financially by the time they are ready for adoption.  We stay in contact with the kittens' new family and continue to provide support and information as warranted.

The Bemisu clan will often trip over each other to see who will get to the door first when company arrives but Grand Pa (Sitbuzek) is smarter!  He tends to hold back, confident.....and a little overweight.  He plays the game much better - he knows how to manipulate things to his advantage.  He 'works it' at dinnertime.  Not to call attention to himself he sits in the nearest empty chair, peering from time to time over the top of the table.  Never in the way, but always near.... and patient.  The pay-off comes with the sound and stirring of putting away the dishes.  This is HIS time, the best part of the day!  Human leftovers, and don't even think about not saving him any!!  That is unless you want spitballs to pick up later among the shreds of unused toilet  paper in the bathroom.

Veda's fetish is water and the bathroom in general.  She "knows" when its bath time, Sunday 0730pm on the dot...  This is HER time, Calgon Rose Petal Fresh bath beads please.  Drape a hand towel across your lap for her comfort and enjoyment or else she may slip and get her face wet.  That isn't fun.  And you know it.  She will even let you clean the tar goo from her nails....purrrr.  It's over much too soon for her so she lingers as the tub is cleared of water.  Her disenchantment is strong and vocal.  Pitiless, un-merciful she remains in the still warm tub yodeling for 45 minutes give or take 10.  She has conveniently made her bed as close as possible to this area, in Master Blake's walk-in closet - attached to the bathroom.  The sound of running water calls out..... sweet delicate music to the ears!

Maxon, in many ways is your typical young adolescent; always pestering Veda for a 'quickie'. Don't get her wrong Veda likes the sex but isn't interested in children right now.  I'm not sure of her birth control method but its working.  Master Blake is not happy.  Maxon enjoys Veda's monthly heat cycles, which last for an entire week.  And he isn't bashful about it either.  His favorite thing is Blue Bell Brand Pecan Praline Ice Cream and Peanut Butter Captain Crunch.  He eats IAMs orange bag cat food only cause Blake says so.  So far he stays muscular and in good shape, so nobody worries too much right now.  Maxon's favorite part of the day is computer time for Blake.
