Kittens are available to selected homes and by reservation only

Most kittens are reserved by deposit well before the litters are born , please contact us regarding information on Kitten reservations.

We recomend you come and visit the Cattery and meet the Breeder. If that is not possible we will get to know each other via email and phone.

All kittens will go to their new home at 4 month of age

With kittens sold as pets the purchase price includes the neuter or spay and it will be done before the kittens leave here.

Kitten Care

1.One inch diameter rocks for potted plants.

2.Wellness Super 5 Mix dry catfood for entire life (less stools).

3.Bathe your sphynx/peterbald once a week regularly.

4.Buy "The Book Of The Cat" at most major bookstores. This is an informative book that tells you   all about cats/health/reproduction/kitten care.

5.Discipline the kitten with a water gun/bottle that shoots long distances in a steady room.

6.Sphynx and Peterbalds are VERY affectionate but sensitive.  They do not forget when you are physically disciplining them.  Use the water gun instead.

7.If the kitten poops on your carpet or somewhere other than it is supposed to, immediately put their food in that place after you have cleaned the area, and leave it there for a few days to 1 week.

8.To discourage clawing, clip their nails once a week with regular fingernail clippers.  Be careful not to clip the quik which is the pink part within their clear nail.

9.Sphynx kittens especially will get a heavy tar build up on their nails.  The easiest and quickest way to remove it is with baby wipes that have lanolin. There appears to be magical and mysterious powers in these "baby wipes".  Nothing else works well.

10.Kitten boosters are often called "3way modified live" or "4way modified live". Sometimes they are "3way or 4way killed" which means the vaccine being given is of a killed virus.  These boosters are given once a year by your veterinarian.  I do not recommend giving rabies to your sphynx or peterbald because they remain indoors only.  The exception to that rule is when you have to travel. Some airlines require proof of rabies.  Check first.

11.If you have any other questions or run in to an emergency, call Lynne.  Current number is (469)361-6505
