Ziven came to us from St. Petersburg, Russia in June of 2000.  He is the most affectionate cat you could ever find.  His main purpose is to be wherever Strekoza, our female, is.  He gets these loud meows going when he can't find the newest hiding place Strekoza has chosen.  He was great with the first litter of kittens.  Ziven appears to be in heaven when there's kittens in the house.  Tigger, Anastaysia and Ziven would run around the house constantly, he finally had another cat who can keep up with him. They have learned, though, once the lights go off, it is nighttime and everyone goes to sleep.    His other favorite thing is to cuddle up next to Lynne when sleeping or to rub his face against her back while he is riding around on her back.
