Vaccination Schedule

All Adults - Yearly - Subcutaneous (under skin) 3 way modified live if non-show cat's. 4 way modified live (Chlymidia) if showing.

Queens - Intranasal _ FRCP (Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calici,Panleukopenia) modified live Trivalent by Heska 3 weeks before kittens are born.

Toms - Before breeding

Kittens - Begin weaning from Queen at approximately 35 days (5 weeks).  Days prior to weaning,  give 3 way modified live subcutaneously, then again at 8 and 11 weeks. At the 11-week vaccination give the 4 way modified live vaccine. Never give the 4 way modified live prior to 11 weeks!

Through trial and error, I have found this schedule to work well in my personal  breeding program. Every breeder will differ on his or her schedule and vaccines.  Some prefer to use all killed virus and some may not use the intranasal vaccines.  Consult your Veterinarian or contact DVM Dr. Susan Hilliard who also raises Sphynx at (978) 475-3600. Susan has been helpful in working on the new and latest trends in Veterinary Medicine.

Suggested Remedies

 1) Marshmallow to increase and enrich the milk in nursing queens.Good for large litters and fat kittens!
 2) Cat with cancer? Shark cartilage
 3) Pulsatialla D6 - Brings Queens in to heat and Prevents Toms fromspraying
 4) For Chylamidia - Azithromycin once a day for 5 days
